Priyanka and Aryeman supposedly got close to each other while she was shooting for her debut film, Anil Sharma’s Hero.
Aryeman has acted alongside Amitabh Bachchan in the film Family, but earlier when he was assisting producer Pravin Shah for the film Hero in which Priyanka starred the two got very close. Aryeman admits that he and Priyanka were close; he says “Priyanka and I were very close friends, we shared almost everything. But we had some misunderstandings due to some people. But we didn’t have any conversation.” However it seems both Priyanka and Aryeman have moved on, with Priyanka dating Harman and Aryeman currently dating actress Sayali Bhagat who recently made her debut in the film The Train. Priyanka Chopra keen to make her mark as an actor
Priyanka Chopra’s recent three movie deal with UTV has undoubtedly brought her commercial success and a fat paycheck to boot, but the 24-year-old has yet to make her mark as an actor.
Priyanka Chopra’s recent three movie deal with UTV has undoubtedly brought her commercial success and a fat paycheck to boot, but the 24-year-old has yet to make her mark as an actor.
In contrast, Vidya Balan, 25, has repeatedly made her mark as an actor in commercially successful films such as Parineeta, Lage Raho Munnabhai and Guru.
Priyanka, seems to understand that her status as a much sought after young actor maybe short lived unless she can stand up to the completion from the likes of Vidya Balan and Kareena Kapoor.
‘I would like to be known as Priyanka the actor; as someone who can play any role with ease’, she told TOI in a recent interview.
Pretty Pragmatic Priyanka, additionally has an open mind on what she should or should not be doing. She understands that success will come to her not because of the genre or the director of her films but her ability to come good on a challenging assignment.
‘What matters is the script and the character. If I feel that the story is powerful enough, I would go for it. Even if a director offers me a movie with exactly five scenes or it’s a blink-and-miss role, I wouldn’t think twice before accepting it provided it’s something challenging and never been done before.’
As a former Miss World, Priyanka has the intelligence and training to say the right things, but it remains to be seen whether she has the talent to walk her talk.
