Priyanka Chopra earlier dated upcoming actor Aryeman

Priyanka Chopra, ex Miss India would like everyone to believe that she is currently single, but the gossip mills continue with rumours that she is  dating Harman Baweja , whom she will also be seen with in Love Story 2050. However according to rumours Priyanka was earlier dating a relatively unknown face in bollywood upcoming actor Aryeman. Priyanka and Aryeman supposedly got close to each other while she was shooting for her debut film, Anil Sharma’s Hero.

Aryeman has acted alongside Amitabh Bachchan in the film Family, but earlier when he was assisting producer Pravin Shah for the film Hero in which Priyanka starred the two got very close. Love first blossomed during a shooting schedule for Hero in Canada, but no one was really aware as Aryeman was not well-known and Priyanka too was relatively new in the film industry. For three months during the shooting schedule in Canada, the couple was inseparable, and after they returned too they kept in touch. However later a misunderstanding occurred between the couple and their relationship soured, ever since then the two have not even been on talking terms.

Aryeman admits that he and Priyanka were close; he says “Priyanka and I were very close friends, we shared almost everything. But we had some misunderstandings due to some people. We haven’t spoken to each other after that. I last met her at Lilavati hospital when Amitabh Bachchan was not well. I had gone to see Mr. Bachchan, so had she. But we didn’t have any conversation.” However it seems both Priyanka and Aryeman have moved on, with Priyanka dating Harman and Aryeman currently dating actress Sayali Bhagat who recently made her debut in the film The Train. On the topic of Aryeman, Priyanka’s secretary Mishra said “Why dig up skeletons now” Aryeman will also be seen opposite Sayali in a film titled Good Luck.

Priyanka Chopra: There is a lot I have yet to do!

Not so slowly yet surely Priyanka Chopra has made to the top. Having signed a three film deal with UTV, that gives her a lot of creative control over her films, she is assured of the choicest roles in the best of the films.

While not an outstanding actor, Priyanka blends beauty with good communication skills and political deftness. Despite her success, she comes through as modest likeable person grounded in reality.

When asked by Z-News as to what she aspired for in the future, having already achieved stardom the 24-year-old modestly joked:

“I have been in the industry for just four years…why do you want me to retire. There is a lot I have yet to do. I love films…this is just the beginning!”

Similarly, when quizzed on how she felt about reprising Meena Kumari’s role in the forthcoming remake of Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam, Priyanka was politically correct with her response.

I am not ready for serious cinema

Bollywood babe Priyanka Chopra wants the masala, all right. But that doesn’t mean that the former Miss World isn’t breaking out of the mould. The ‘Lara Croft of Bollywood’ on her first film and the thrills of action

Priyanka Chopra
Her first film Big Brother released last week, long after Priyanka Chopra outgrew the jitters of her first take. One of Bollywood’s most successful and dependable actresses today, Priyanka isn’t apologetic about the film that critics have ripped apart. Nor does she have any hang-ups about admitting that she would rather consolidate her status as a commercial actress than dabble in “serious cinema.” In a tete-a-tete she talks about the experience of re-doing Big Brother, her reputation as an actress who does her own stunts and her forthcoming projects, including the one where she plays Abhishek Bachchan’s bodyguard.
There was a rumour that you didn’t want to be associated with Big Brother after the release.
Big Brother was the film for which I gave the first shot of my career, so it’s a special film. I still remember that shot. I was 18 then and terribly nervous. I cried because I was afraid I might not have done it well. But we re-shot almost the entire movie over the last six months before its release last week. And now, even that scene has been re-done.
How was it reinterpreting the same character after a gap of three years?
I understood my character a lot better when we re-shot the film. It’s a very real character, unlike many of my other roles. This is a girl from a simple middle-class family, grounded, but strong, and one who tries to hold on to her family through tough situations.

Big Brother’s director Guddu Dhanoa has said that after three years, he found you have become a ‘one-take’ actress. Do you take that as a compliment? Or would you rather be a perfectionist, who insists on multiple takes?
I was doing the film a second time. I knew the story and character well and so I could bring an intensity to my characterisation. I take the director’s observation as a compliment because you cannot be a one-take actor if you are not a perfectionist.
