Priyanka Chopra is the new LUX brand ambassador

Priyanka Chopra is the new queen of the Lux Soap ad campaign.

The brand has been promoted as the ‘beauty soap of film stars’ for a record 50 years! Every top Bollywood star has endorsed the soap including Kareena Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai, Sri Devi, Karisma Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit, not to mention stars of yester years.

Last year, in a bizarre departure from the norm, Shah Rukh Khan endorsed the beauty soap, inviting curious comments on his sexuality.

News reports say that Priyanka will soon be presented as the brand ambassador of Lux in a deluxe event! A print and electronic media blitz will follow. The inside news is that she is being paid an unprecedented, whopping amount for the assignment!
